**Design Note** As you can see I knit my Flappers in Christmas colors...well, I then put bells on them and will use them for Christmas socks every year. I then started thinking that they would be cute for any holidays...I see St. Patrick's Day Flappers with green beads and/or bells...or red and/or pink Flappers with hearts on the flaps for Valentine's Day, etc....let your imagination run wild! And HAVE FUN!!

As you can see in the pattern there are several photos used to illustrate steps in the pattern, I am posting them here so that you can click on them to enlarge them for detail.

**Design note**I'm ashamed to say that as much as I love to knit socks, I'd not knit My Man a pair of socks until recently, he loves them so much that I've caught him washing and wearing them several times a week! I thought that I should both design and knit these socks for him! This is a simple 4 st/4 row slip st pattern, the legs are short (3.5"), should you want a longer leg I highly recommend getting another 50 gr. ball of yarn.
